Dr. Husni, ST, M.Sc., M.Eng

I graduated from ITB majoring in mining engineering-metallurgical engineering specialty. After finishing my undergraduate study, I joined P.T. Wilson Walton Indonesia (formerly a Corrpro company) as a project engineer for at least three years and was responsible for conducting site survey, design engineering, and installation supervision concerning corrosion control for the underground pipeline and piping system, aboveground storage tank and other facilities mostly in petroleum industries. During my master’s study, we successfully built locally-made arc-melting furnace for making alloys and used the equipment to improving mechanical properties of TiAl alloys. When I was a doctoral student at the Colorado School of Mines, I also had a great opportunity getting involved at the center for the innovative in earth resources science and engineering (CIERSE), which has been established by the Newmont Mining Corporation. I have been trying to contribute professionally and significantly by working together with the principal investigators for indicating and establishing the potential parameters to be investigated and solved in the grinding mills for better energy efficiency and performance..
