
Izzan completed his undergraduate studies at the Chemical Engineering Department at Universitas Syiah Kuala in 2014. After graduating, he worked as a production engineer for Lafarge Cement Indonesia. In 2017, he did his postgraduate study in mining engineering at the Norman B. Keevil Institute of Mining Engineering, the University of British Columbia, Canada. In 2019, he continued his study in the field of mining and metallurgical engineering at the Western Australia School of Mines, Curtin University, Australia. Currently, Izzan is a lecturer at the Mining Engineering program of Earth Engineering Department, Universitas Syiah Kuala. His specializations and interests are in the topic of resource estimation, in-situ recovery, mineral-coal processing, data science, circular economy, and health-safety-environment. More
